Notices - What do they mean for Club Schedulers?Printable

Notices are intended to inform individual Team Points of Contact (Notify them) of something important that is pertinent to them on the District IV website. Typically it will involve a change of some sort to a particular match.

Every time an individual Logs on to the District IV website, the system will check to see if they have any ooutstanding Notices. If the system detects any Notices for the individual, it will automatically send them to the Member: Notice page to display their Notice/s.

After reading a Notice and understanding what the Notice is about, they should delete it from their Notice Queue so that others (Club Schedulers like you) who are tracking this information only see those Notices that have not yet been asknowledged and deleted.

Below is a sample of what a typical Notice might look like for a Team Point of Contact. In the sample below, the member has two separate Notices.

What Club Schedulers should be looking for and doing regarding Notices!

Club Schedulers should be checking the status of Notices to Team Points of Contact within their own clubs to ensure that any Notices pertaining to the coming weekends play has not gone unnoticed by applicable team officials. The only Notices that you will see are those that have not been acknowledged (deleted) for members within your own club.

Below is a Sample of what you may see when you go to Scheduler: CoachNotices

What Club Schedulers should do about any Outstanding Notices for members of their Club!

Club Schedulers should be checking the status of Notices to Team Points of Contact within their own clubs as the weekend approaches. Remember that all Team Coaches are to Log on to the website and Check their schedules every Wednesday evening to ensure they do not miss any changes. If the Coaches do so and have any Notices, they should acknowledge them by deleting them. If this happens, then you should see no Outstanding Notices for members of your club.

If however, you do note any Outstanding Notices for the coming weekend, you are asked to contact the individual to ensure that they have in fact noted the applicable Notice to ensure that they and their team are aware of any changes to their schedule for the upcoming weekend. None of us wants any team to miss their match. Unfortunatley, we all know that some changes do occur throughout the season.

Please help ensure that your teams are aware of any and all pertinent changes. Let's all avoid the unnecessary occurnace of a team missing its match by working together and observing the Notice Feature on the website and what it means to all of us.
